Visit the Hettinger County Historical Society Museum

The Hettinger County Historical Society Museum is located in Southwest North Dakota. Located in Regent, the museum is only a short drive from Interstate 94 and can be reached via the Enchanted Highway which is a stretch of highway that contains the world’s largest metal sculptures. The Enchanted Highway includes such sculptures as Geese in Flight, Deer Crossing, Grasshopper’s Delight, Fisherman’s Dream, Pheasants on the Prairie, Theodore Roosevelt Rides Again, and The Tin Family. Upon arriving in Regent, visitors can also visit the Enchanted Highway Gift Shop. Just across the street is where you’ll find the expansive Hettinger County Historical Society Museum.

Memorial Day through Labor Day: 12 p.m. - 5 p.m and by appointment.

Closed Sundays

September-May: Visitors by appointment only.


Free admission to all visitors.
